Logicalis announces Dáblio, field team management solution

Logicalis, provider of information and communication technology services and solutions for Latin America, has launched Dáblio, a field team automation solution that allows controlling and automating external activities, harnessing maximum mobile devices’ features.

According to Gartner Institute data, in 2016 there were more than 1,6 million mobile devices acquired throughout the world. Currently, 40% of workforce is mobile and two thirds use smartphones. Adopting mobile solutions in organizations is key to increase productivity. The challenge for company’s system areas is controlling these devices, maximizing their use and trusting the information collected through these tools.

“This solution emerged from a need identified in internal projects and, soon, proved to be a common issue in several organizations. Difficulties in locating and tracking technicians and controlling their routine activities, along with the lack of tools to support employees in gathering and documenting information on their tasks, were key points to propel the creation of a solution that would harness mobility advantages for organizations”, says Fabio Hashimoto, Logicalis’ technology director.  

Dáblio is cloud-based, highly customizable and easily adaptable to specific processes and work flux of each client, in any industry. When a call is made in the platform, it is immediately sent off to the field technician, who initiates the service. It is possible to see each technician’s activity stage status, centrally, from approval to the route towards the service site, with photographs and process information. Upon conclusion, the service order is registered in a default report.

“Our purpose is to offer field technicians with tools that accelerates their tasks, including documentation. Additionally, the use of technologies such as video communication, QR code readers and, in the future, augmented reality and IoT, have the potential to really transform this type of work”, says Hashimoto.

Unlike most market solutions, Dáblio works both online and offline, ensuring management system feeding with out-of-range activities data. Furthermore, development format, completely modular, allows for gradual features expansion and flexible commercial models.
